Please note: The Manufacturer’s Warranty for products and internal parts will vary from product to product. Typically, the minimum warranty on a product is 1 year, and can go up to 15 years, depending on the product and type of warranty choice you make at the time of purchase.
Please understand that is not the responsibility of QLD Electrical & Solar if the product has an internal failure during its life, however we will be happy to help you do a warranty claim should a product have a fault during the warranty period.
Workmanship warranty
We can happily provide this warranty, because we vouch for our commitment to provide top quality service and installations, every time.
New electrical installation: We happily warrant your electrical installation to be free from defects in workmanship from the date the installation of the product is completed, for a period of five years of normal use.
Disclaimer: This workmanship warranty does not include any damages or defects in the product, except to the extent where the damage or defect is solely caused by our installation of the product.
Repairs or alterations to an existing electrical installation: We warrant any electrical repairs to be free from defects in workmanship from the date the repair is completed for a period of 1 year of normal use.
Disclaimer: This workmanship warranty does not include any damages or defects in the products used to make the repair except to the extent solely caused by our installation of the product.
What do I do if I have an issue with the installation?:
In the extremely rare case that you feel you have an issue with the workmanship of our installation, please get in touch as soon as you notice this. We will send a technician to determine the cause of the alleged defect and if determined to be within the scope of our workmanship warranty, we will make the necessary repairs, at our own expense.
Disclaimer: Please understand, we are only able to provide a workmanship warranty if a technician from QLD Electrical & Solar has been the sole exclusive remedy with respect to any defect. QLD Electrical & Solar will not refund or pay any costs in connection with repairs made by anyone other than a technician from QLD Electrical & Solar. QLD Electrical & Solar’s liability to the covered person or entity shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from or in any way attributable to: (a) neglect; (b) misuse; (c) abuse; (d) repair or alteration made by anyone other than QLD Electrical & Solar; (e) settlement or structural movement and/or movement of materials to which installed products are attached; (f) damage from incorrect design of the structure; (h) acts of God including, but not limited to, hurricanes, tornados, floods, earthquakes, severe weather or natural phenomena, (including, but not limited to, unusual climate conditions); (i) lack of proper maintenance; and (j) any cause other than workmanship defects attributable to QLD Electrical & Solar
Any repairs made by QLD Electrical & Solar pursuant to this warranty shall constitute a full settlement and release of all claims of any covered person/entity hereunder for damages or other relief and shall be a complete bar to any litigation filed subsequently to the covered person/entity’s acceptance of such an agreement.
