How much will you pay?

Following the current estimation of the cost of electricity rising by 6.46% on average per year, you can estimate how much your quartely bill will be over the next 15 years, using the table below.

By using your currant average quartely bill cost and matching the amount to the amount shown in the green row, you can see in the column how this 6.46% increase will be affecting your bill as the years go by.

At the bottom of the columns you will find an estimation of how much you are going to pay from 2016 to 2030 on electricity if you do not change your daily usage amount, and/or invest in better appliances and/or install solar.

The result is the sum of each quartely bill x 4 from 2016 to 2030.

So, for eg: If your current monthly electricity bill is $500/month, you would look at the column that is highlighted green, and find '$500'. Each number directly below the green $500 is what your bill is estimated to be over the next 15 years...the amount in the yellow box at the bottom is how much you will have spent on electricity alone in the next 15 years: in this case $48,216!!
